In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Silence (Lyric Video), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s part is created by Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was developed originally as fluff to both satisfy and make fun of stupid Canadian content demands, the duo grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
