In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Silence ( MYKOOL Bootleg), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was included on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as filler to both follow guidelines and laugh about legal Canadian content rules, the characters morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The characters went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
