In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Until We Head Into The Stars, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by actor Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as an idea to both please and laugh about annoying Canadian content legislation, the characters became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The characters soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
