In the video Dave Thomas Junior -Worse Lyrics, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was included on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as a joke to both please and make fun of network Canadian content policies, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
