Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – You Are In My Head

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – You Are In My Head, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as a skit to both fulfill and make fun of network Canadian content policies, the duo turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The characters became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
