In the video Dave Thomas – La Fenetre (Yann Tiersen cover), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by Dave Thomas. The bit was made originally as filler to both fulfill and makes jokes about silly Canadian content demands, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
