In the video Dave Thomas La valse d’Amelie Yann Tiersen cover, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as a sketch to both please and laugh about stupid Canadian content rules, the two transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The characters became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
