Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas on Agile

In the video Dave Thomas on Agile, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by actor Dave Thomas. Although made originally as filler to both follow guidelines and laugh about legal Canadian content statutes, the duo transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
