In the video Dave Thomas races Group 2 at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix 2014, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hilarious Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a skit to both satisfy and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content statutes, the siblings turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
