In the video DAVE THOMAS SCORES EVERTON FC’S SECOND GOAL AGAINST LEICESTER CITY – FILBERT ST – SEPTEMBER 1977, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on second city television for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and make fun of non sensical Canadian content laws, the characters grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
