Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Testimony

In the video Dave Thomas Testimony, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is played by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh at non sensical Canadian content policies, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The pair soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
