Ever since the first frightened sketch aired me and my father would do the AHHHHHHH everytime phone rang or there was a knock at the door. Miss You pops!!!
They took this from SCTV. Still very funny!
All these frightened episodes are hilarious so I am puzzled that the show never succeeded.

Well, it could have been worse...the in-flight movie could have been "Goin' Ape!" or "Can't Stop The Music" (aka The Village People Movie) or "Xanadu" or "Caveman". You wanna talk about scary? The worst "Yentl" could do is put you to sleep.
Only one thing would have made this funnier. If Rick Moranis had been in it too. But I Loved it!
This variety show only lasted a couple of episodes, but it was funny.
