In the video Dave Thomas – The Skeleton’s Waltz (Synthesia Tutorial), Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as a sketch to both satisfy and mock legal Canadian content demands, the two morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The pair became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
