Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Yonkers part 2

In the video Dave Thomas Yonkers part 2, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh at dumb Canadian content demands, the brothers turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The pair enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
