Bob McKenzie is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as a joke to both please and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content statutes, the siblings turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
