Bob and Doug McKenzie in Day 2 of my 12 Days of Christmas

In the video Day 2 of my 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as filler to both please and laugh about silly Canadian content rules, the characters transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The two enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
