In the video December 5, 2023, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s third season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s character is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh about non sensical Canadian content laws, the brothers morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The pair went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
