Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dentist! – Little Shop of Horrors (1986)

In the video Dentist! – Little Shop of Horrors (1986), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on CBC Television in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a skit to both please and mock dumb Canadian content policies, the characters morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
