Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dick Mango’s 12 Days of Christmas

In the video Dick Mango’s 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and make fun of non sensical Canadian content demands, the two grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
