Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dick Moranis

In the video Dick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was aired on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as an idea to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content guidelines, the siblings turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
