In the video Did you notice this in GHOSTBUSTERS, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s character is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and make fun of legal Canadian content laws, the duo turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The two became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
