In the video Disneys Honey We Shrunk Ourselves Rick Moranis Shrinks People Everywhere Down By Dumb Mistakes, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on second city television for the show’s third season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by comic Dave Thomas. It was born originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content policies, the siblings turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
