In the video Disquieted by Dave Thomas Junior – imagination art #indiemusic, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it aired by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by Dave Thomas. Although born originally as fluff to both fulfill and make fun of legal Canadian content legislation, the brothers turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The characters soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
