In the video Doc K’s Blues band, IT HURTS ME TOO, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it moved to CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s part is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as a joke to both satisfy and makes jokes about network Canadian content rules, the siblings transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The characters later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
