In the video Doc McStuffins: The Doc Is In | Full Special | Disney Junior, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of strange Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh at non sensical Canadian content policies, the siblings turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The characters soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
