Dave Thomas Jr. (Official Music Video), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob is created by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by actor Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as fluff to both please and mock annoying Canadian content statutes, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
