Bob and Doug McKenzie in Don Diablo – Silence (ft. Dave Thomas Jr)
In the video Don Diablo – Silence (ft. Dave Thomas Jr), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was included on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a sketch to both please and laugh at network Canadian content statutes, the duo morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The characters later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
