Bob and Doug McKenzie in Don Diablo – Silence [VIP Mix] (Ft. Dave Thomas Jr)

In the video Don Diablo – Silence [VIP Mix] (Ft. Dave Thomas Jr), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of strange Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by actor Dave Thomas. It was born originally as an idea to both please and laugh about silly Canadian content rules, the pair morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The brothers went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
