Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as fluff to both please and make fun of non sensical Canadian content policies, the brothers became a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
