In the video Don McLean – Vincent ( Starry, Starry Night) With Lyrics, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the year 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about silly Canadian content rules, the siblings turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The two later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

For those who may have missed my previous comments. I compiled and uploaded this so I could explain my love of Van-Gogh's art to a dear friend of mine and thought McLean's Stary Stary Night was perfect in helping to explain. The lyrics were strictly for the benefit of my Friend, who's first language is not English.I never imagined it would get so many views and comments. I'm so glad I was able to share.

Wonderful song, and it's nice to see all the examples os Van Gogh's work, but I would have liked to see the art without the text plastered over it. I can hear the lyrics without reading them.
