In the video Dr. -Dave Thomas The Oracles to the Churches, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh at dumb Canadian content demands, the characters morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The characters soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
