In the video Drawing Bob and Doug McKenzie (time lapse), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s part is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as a sketch to both fulfill and laugh about stupid Canadian content rules, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The two enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
