Bob’s character is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh about legal Canadian content demands, the characters turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
