Bob and Doug McKenzie in Elevator to mens wear (Bob and Doug McKenzie parody)

In the video Elevator to mens wear (Bob and Doug McKenzie parody), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content demands, the characters turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
