Bob and Doug McKenzie in Ep. 106 – Us Vs. Our Own Studio: Little Shop of Horrors

In the video Ep. 106 – Us Vs. Our Own Studio: Little Shop of Horrors, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was included on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s character is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of network Canadian content guidelines, the brothers turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
