In the video EPISODE 13. The 12 days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s part is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh at network Canadian content statutes, the siblings became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
