Bob and Doug McKenzie in Episode 53 – Interview with Dave Thomas, USPSA

In the video Episode 53 – Interview with Dave Thomas, USPSA, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh about legal Canadian content demands, the pair transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
