Bob and Doug McKenzie in Episode 9-2: SCTV “Zontar”

In the video Episode 9-2: SCTV “Zontar”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a improv which was shown on second city television for the show’s third season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh at legal Canadian content demands, the pair transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The characters became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
