Bob and Doug McKenzie in ETA Doug McKenzie Hurt

In the video ETA Doug McKenzie Hurt, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s third season when it moved to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as a skit to both fulfill and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content demands, the characters grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The pair later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
