  1. Shujinko rated so low really? Him being killed off in X or XI off screen as part of someone's arcade was part of my not liking MK anymore. He was my one of my favorite characters. Him and Onaga were my top 2 and both rated so low that is horrible.

  2. My Mortal Kombatant rankings: (HEAVY SPOILERS AS OF MK1. I only played MK, MKII, UMK3, MK2011, MKX, MK11, and MK1. 4, Deadly Alliance, Deception, and Armageddon characters might be affected or not on this list.)

    (Hi, still scroll.)

    59. Triborg- A combination of robots, put in as DLC in MKX. krickets chirp
    58. Darrius
    – A wannabe Blade and Jax who is a Kameo in MK1. Do not care. At all.
    57. Shujinko- The protagonist in one of the 3D games, but I never played them, so I have to go with the fact that he's an unlockable Kameo character in MK1. What.
    56. Sareena
    – A demon who is a goon to Quan Chi and is a Kameo in MK1. … Oh, wait, she was in Mythologies. … Meh.
    55. Tremor
    – An earth ninja that was DLC in MKX. Does it look like I care about an earth ninja.
    54. Cyber Sub-Zero- A cyborg Sub-Zero. Did not really do anything in 2011, and he's a more powerful but slower Sub-Zero. Meh.
    53. Kollector
    – A six-armed freak who uses weapons in MK11. Don't remember a darn thing besides that.
    52. Reiko
    – A soldier under General Shao in MK1. shrugs
    51. Ferra/Torr- A symbiotic pair in MKX. I don't remember what they did in the story, even if their gameplay is fun.

    50. Nitara- A vampire voiced by Megan Fox in MK1. Cool idea, but she did not really much in MK1. Maybe she did more in the 3D era.

    49. Motaro- A Centaur who killed Johnny Cage, didn't do anything besides that, was a cheap sub-boss, and was ruined in Armageddon. The worst sub-boss ever, even if his design is cool. Wait, he's in MK1 as a Kameo Fighter. … Okay…
    48. Cetrion
    – The sister of Shinnok and goddess of life. coughs
    47. Stryker- A riot police officer. He's only this high because of how many appearances he has.
    46. Nightwolf
    – A native American shaman that one time self-destructs himself to kill Sindel in 2011. And that work was undone when Aftermath came along. Lame story aside, he does have an interesting moveset.
    45. Kung Jin- An cousin of Kung Lao's, an archer, and the first openly gay character, if I can remember. Other than that… shrugs

    44. Kintaro
    – The most cheap Shokan sub-boss ever, who is the least playable of the three. Also, he burnt Kabal, and I won't forgive him for that.
    43. Havik- A contortionist or so. A goon to Quan Chi in MK1. Apparently, they have big plans for him in the next game, but I sadly don't care. He seems like a ripoff Mileena because of his jaw trying to come off him. Still, not the worst of the 3D comebacks.
    42. Takeda Takahashi- The son of Kenshi who is mentored by Scorpion, if I remember. He's been in only one game, so sorry if I couldn't care more about him other than that and his moveset. If I remember, he was engaged to Jacqui. Well, with that timeline gone… ooopooooops.

    41. Skarlet
    – A rumor turned reality as a DLC character in 2011, and reappeared in 11, even though I forgot her role in it. Still, her blood telekinesis thing is pretty cool.
    40. D’Vorah- An insect lady thing that uses bugs. I don't remember what she does in X and 11, but her presence is still memorable.

    39. Sektor- A former Lin Quie turned cyborg. Other than that, his rivalry with Cyrax, and his amazing movesets with missiles and rockets, he never stood too much for me.

    38. Tanya- A warrior who becomes a royal guard in MK1. She was playable in MKX as a DLC character, but I never cared for her. Also, is it me, or did she change her race between X and 1?

    37. Rain- A sorcerer who has power over water, and didn't leave an impression on me until MK1. Even with his unique abilities, I never cared for Rain.

    36. Ashrah- Another 3D era Kombatant I never knew about, Ashrah surprised me. She wants out of her demonhood and become whole, using the sword she has to make her more pure for each demon she does slay. Her inclusion in MK1 is a nice touch and fits with the story. Her moveset is good too, even if Kenshi and his more amazing sword is also on the same roster as her.

    35. Cyrax- A Lin Quie assassin forced to becoming a cyborg. He turns on his programming twice, even though he isn't playable the second time around. His feud with Sektor isn't as memorable as Scorpion and Sub-Zero's, but his moveset with his nets and bombs are unique.

    34. Li Mei- A once forgotten 3D era Kombatant turned soldier in the third timeline for Empress Sindel, after she is stripped down from her former position of royal guard after King Jerrod dies on her watch. She vows to turn her life around somehow. I didn't know what to think of Li Mei, but she turned out to be my favorite character from the characters I never played before. Even if her moveset is mid.

    33. Fujin- The wind god and brother to Raiden. He sadly only accidentally give Shang Tsung Khronika's crown in MK11, and I've never played MK4 to care more about him. Still, he has a moveset, though why he has a crossbow is beyond me.

    32. Frost- A Lin Quie female ninja who wants to surpass Sub-Zero. She's a nice addition to the MK universe, even though she tiptoe's into Sub-Zero's abilities.

    31. Kotal Kahn- The successor to Shao Kahn, who wages war with Earthrealm for MKX, and then gets dethroned by a past Shao Kahn. His potential sadly fell down in Aftermath, and I don't think he'll return. Still, his design and fighting style are unique.

    30. Geras- The protector of the Hourglass. Even though his personality is a little bland because he's a construct, his sand powers are deadly and no joke.

  3. Scorching hot take: Miliena or whatever her name is is overrated, she is boring in terms of design, annoying, and made me LIKE D'vorah for killing her, she also is the opposite of my favorite character, Kitana, also Nightwolf slander is a crime, swap Nightwolf with Miliena.

  4. Like they said, this list was partially comprised from their opinion and I get that.

But compared to other MK Kharacter list, their overall ranking is…surprising.

  5. Hot fresh science fact: #69 Kai, after winning the WWE title in 2019, Kofi Kingston agreed with a tweet of mine that not only did he name his son Kai after the character, he was 100% on board for NeatherRealm to revive the character and he wanted to lend his likeness for him.
Also.. how are Taven, Daegon, Shujinko & the rest of the 1 time losers not at the bottom with Meat?
