Bob and Doug McKenzie in Faces of Olive Garden | Dave Thomas

In the video Faces of Olive Garden | Dave Thomas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is created by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content statutes, the pair turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
