In the video FAKING ORGASMS FOR DUMMIES | SCTV Sunrise Semester with Dr. Cheryl Kinsey, 1977, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is performed by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and mock dumb Canadian content rules, the pair transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
