Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as filler to both follow guidelines and laugh at dumb Canadian content rules, the pair morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The brothers became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
One family decides to adopt and rescue a Tibetan Mastiff puppy. This was their first animal rescue, so everything seemed to be going well. As their first dog rescue, having a new dog was great! Under the circumstances, the family should have been allowed to keep the bear, with stipulations of required public safety protections. Government bureaucracy is always in contrast to individual freedom. More people means a shrinking middle ground!
