Bob and Doug McKenzie in Fat Mook- Rick Moranis

In the video Fat Mook- Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a improv which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and laugh about network Canadian content demands, the characters morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
