Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh about network Canadian content policies, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
