Bob and Doug McKenzie in Frank Kelly – The 12 Days of Christmas (John Bowman 1st December 2017)

In the video Frank Kelly – The 12 Days of Christmas (John Bowman 1st December 2017), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it braodcast by CBC Television in . Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as a sketch to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content legislation, the characters morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The two became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
