In the video French woman loves Dave Thomas (1991), Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was televised on second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as an idea to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content guidelines, the siblings turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The characters enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
