Bob and Doug McKenzie in Friday in The Great White North

In the video Friday in The Great White North, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content demands, the characters turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
