Bob and Doug McKenzie in Frightened Brothers

In the video Frightened Brothers, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a improv which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh at legal Canadian content statutes, the duo transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
