Bob’s character is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as fluff to both please and make fun of legal Canadian content laws, the duo became a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
